EAST COAST FENCING

DOMESTIC PALISADE FENCING SPECIFICATIONS

The pale is 1.6mm thick, 40 mm wide, roll-formed, hot dipped galvanized to SABS 763 SABS ISO 1461 Standards.

The cross member is a 40 x 40 x 2mm angle iron. The posts are 50 x 50 x 1.6mm thick square tubing, with intermediate brackets, for a 6mm cup square bolt to be fitted to the cross members, also all hot dipped galvanised.

We use a welded panel for level ground and a bolt on system for banks. The bolts are 8mm and anti-tamper shear off nuts are used. All the nuts and bolts are Kalguarded (developed for the use on shipping containers).
Each panel is 3m from centre to centre and has 17 pales per panel, Gaps between the pales are 100mm.

The pale is 2mm thick, 65 mm wide, roll-formed, hot dipped. Galvanized to SABS 763 SABS ISO 1461 Standards.

The Angle Iron Rails are 40 x 40 x 3mm hot dipped galvanised. The posts are 76 x 76 x 2mm thick square tubing, with welded lugs pre-punched for a 8mm or 10mm cup square bolt to be fitted for the cross members, also all hot dipped galvanised.

We use welded panels for level ground and a bolt on system for banks. The bolts are 8mm and anti-tamper shear off nuts are used. All the nuts and bolts are Kalguarded (developed for the use on shipping containers). Black vacuumed formed ABS pyramid styled caps are used for the top of the posts.

Each panel is 3m centre to centre and has 17 pales per panel;the centre panel is 100mm longer, which is concreted in the ground to stop the sag in the cross members.
